WATER QUALITY ADVISORY FOR BONNINGTON IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT WATER USERS

Please be advised that due to current spring run-off conditions, we are issuing a Water Quality Advisory until further notice.

While our ongoing test results by Interior Health are returning as Acceptable, we believe it's prudent to air on the side of caution as increases in the level of turbidity (suspended matter) in our drinking water supply may occur at anytime. Our water is consumable but it is recommended that people with compromised immune systems or anyone seeking additional protection should take precautions when drinking, washing fruits and vegetables, making beverages or brushing their teeth.

We are monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available. In the meantime, please take the necessary precautions to ensure your safety and that of your loved ones.

The treatment system is operating as it should. Cloudy water, if observed, may be the result of suspended sediment.
